Getting Started

This section guides you through the initial setup of the Invox Dictation SDK from installing the package to running your first dictation.

Steps

1. Installation — Install the Invox Dictation SDK via npm and understand the package structure.
2. Quick Start — Implement the essential functionality: login, dictation and text output.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

• Integration credentials — organizationId, appId, and apiKey supplied for your application.
• User credentials — a username and password assigned to your organization. Contact support if you do not have them yet.
• A modern browser with microphone support (see Introduction for the full compatibility list).
• An HTTPS deployment for microphone access. No local Dictation Service, microphone driver, or ASR endpoint configuration is required.
